2. Applying to join Fledglings Montessori Pre-School Group

The application process is made up of two stages: application and registration.
Application:
All enquiries for availability must be made using the online application form. We will respond within seven days letting you know whether a space
is available, or if not, what alternative sessions can be offered or an option to join the waiting list.

The current application form is at: https://www.fledglings-bromley.com/places
Registration:
If a place is available and you decide to accept it, you will be asked to complete a registration form and pay a deposit of £100. Once paid, the deposit is non-refundable but it will be credited against your child’s final invoice. If the deposit is not paid within seven days of the offer being made, we reserve the right to reallocate your child’s place to other applicants without notice. Places are offered in accordance with our Admissions Policy, a copy of which is available on request.
3. Changes to sessions
Dependent on availability, we will accommodate reasonable changes to sessions both before your child starts with us and once they are with us. Excessive changes (i.e. more than once a term) will result in an admin fee of £50 per change request. Failure to pay this charge will result in
your child’s sessions remaining unchanged and invoiced at the the previous run rate, where higher.

4. Fees

The current fees are displayed at: https://www.fledglings-bromley.com/pricing

Fees may be changed at any time, but we will always give at least three months or one term’s notice (whichever is the lesser) of any changes.
Fees cannot be refunded in the event of absence. In the event of an increase in fees, you have the right to decline the offer of a place no later
than 28 days after notification of the increase and we will refund your deposit.

If you decline the place more than 28 days after receipt of the increase notification your deposit will be forfeited. Notifications are made via our website at https://www.fledglings-bromley.com/pricing and on Twitter @FledglingsM. Invoices are issued at the beginning of each half term
and are due within seven days of the invoice date.
5. Government funding

All children over the age of 3 are entitled to 15 hours of universal free time per week. These are divided into 3-hour blocks and can be used five times per week with us. You can split the allocation between multiple providers. We will require a copy of your child’s birth certificate and
a parental contract in order to claim your child’s funding. We will provide you with a copy of the parental contract.
Universal free time does not cover the entire cost of the session with us. Additional time is charged according to the fees listed in section 4.
You cannot use unclaimed universal free time to pay additional fees.
Children under the age of 3 may be entitled to 15 hours of free time per week under the “I am 2” scheme, details of which are at:
“I am 2” funding does not cover the entire cost of the session with us. Additional time is charged according to the fees listed in section 4.
You cannot use unclaimed “I am 2” free time to pay additional fees.
Most children over 3 are eligible for an additional 15 hours of free time per week. You will need to verify your eligibility and provide us
with the code generated by HMRC before we can claim the additional 15 hours: https://childcare-support.tax.service.gov.uk
Additional funding (also known as “30 hours”) does not cover the entire cost of the session with us. Additional time is charge according
to the fees listed in section 4.
You cannot use unclaimed “30 hours” funding to pay additional fees. You can split the additional funding between multiple providers.
If we do not have a copy of your child’s birth certificate and a signed contract, we will be unable to claim any government funding for your child and you will be charged the current unfunded place fee, shown in section 4.

6. Notice
We ask for a full term’s notice in writing (to information@fledglings-bromley.com) in the event your child is to leave us before their school leaving date. If we do not receive adequate notice of withdrawal, we will continue to claim government funding for your child for one month after your child has left the group meaning you will not be able to claim government funding at a new provider until that period is up.

In addition, you will still be liable for any additional fees for the duration of that term. Your deposit will be forfeited.
7. Policies and procedures
The latest versions of all policies and procedures are available on My Montessori Child. You will be provided with login details when your child joins us. Copies are always available to view at the pre-school premises.
